Message from DoDDS Europe: "It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to call the school every time a student is absent."

An Important Announcement from our District Superintendent:

There are three elementary (K-5) and two middle schools (6-8) in the Stuttgart community.
School capacity is a major factor in determining the attendance areas.
Incoming parents should check with the Housing Office and the Schools to determine the attendance area for their students.

REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
And
RE-REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS RETURNING TO
BOEBLINGEN ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL
FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2008/2009

For Appointment Please call 07031-15-2923 or DSN 431-2923

Students presently enrolled at BEMS who will be returning the next school year must be re-registered . The re-registration process is a requirement if your child is remaining at BEMS for the school year 2008/2009.

Sponsors who are in doubt as to whether their dependent will be returning to BEMS for school year 2008/2009 are advised to re-register. If circumstances change, please notify the school. Sponsors who know for sure that their child will not be returning should let the school office know as soon as possible. Records cannot be prepared for collection if notification is not provided.

It is extremely important that re-registration be completed during this time frame. This ensures adequate time for the school to make plans for the upcoming school year.

If you have any questions regarding re-registration or required paperwork, contact the registrar, Darlene Hussmann 431-2923 or 07031-15-2923.You may also contact her via email at Darlene.Hussmann@eu.dodea.edu

Verification Documentation
Bring all documentation with you to re-registration even if you have supplied it to the school before.

Military sponsors need to verify that the orders on file with their child's name on it are current for the school year 2008/2009. If orders on file expire before August 25, 2008, extension orders must be provided during the re-registration period.

Sponsors who provide a Central Billing Letter should ask their agencies to provide them with one relevant to the 2008/2009 school year. Also bring in a valid copy of the sponsor's current ID card.

Emergency Contact: someone other than the sponsor or spouse. This should be someone who can drive and has access to a vehicle. Please make sure this person is aware that they are on record as being your emergency contact.
