School Community

Your School Advisory Committee provides a forum for you to express your ideas and concerns with school and community officials. Boeblingen's SAC Chairperson is elected in the fall by returning and newly elected SAC members. The SAC will...

RECOMMEND consider a problem or question, and provide a solution in the form of a recommendation.

INFORM keep the community aware of what plans and are being initiated in the school.

SUGGEST informally recommend a course of action as a solution to a question or problem.

EVALUATE help measure the effectiveness of a program's results.

INQUIRE seek information, input, and feedback from the community, school, or installation in order to help develop proposals.

INVESTIGATE locate and determine the feasibility of implementing new programs.

SAC members include parents, teachers and staff, the School Liason's Officer, and the Federal Education Association faculty representative. SAC meetings are held monthly. Everyone is invited to attend. However, if you are not able to attend, you may write to or contact any elected member of the SAC, and he/she will share your thoughts and concerns with the committee. SAC is an advisory committee, which works productively to improve and advance the education of your children. Some SAC members are also a part of the IAC, which advises the Garrison commander in regard to school-base related matters.

If you have a concern or question that would be appropriate for the SAC to address, you can find the SAC Input Form in the office. Please fill this out and put contact information so that your concern or question can be followed up on in a timely manner. Completed forms can be put into the SAC mailbox just across from the school office on the first floor.
